TERMS OF USE

This web page represents a legal document and is the Terms and Conditions (Agreement) for our website, firearmandsecuritytraining.com (Website), its subdomain (thinkfastdmv.com). By using our Website, you agree to fully comply with and be bound by the following Agreement each time you use our Website. 

Definitions

The terms “us”, “we”, and “our” refer to FAST Training, LLC dba FAST Training Center, FAST Training Center of Camp Springs the owner of this Website. A “Visitor” is someone who merely browses our Website. A “Customer” is someone who has registered with our Website to use our Services. The term “User” is a collective identifier that refers to either a Visitor or a Member. The term “Product” refers to any products we sell or give away.

All text, information, graphics, design, and data offered through our Website or Services, whether produced by our Members or by us, are collectively known as our “Content”. We distinguish content posted by our Members as “Member Content”. 

Acceptance of Agreement

This Agreement is between you and us. 

THIS AGREEMENT CONTAINS WARRANTY DISCLAIMERS AND OTHER PROVISIONS THAT LIMIT OUR LIABILITY TO YOU. PLEASE READ THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS CAREFULLY AND IN THEIR ENTIRETY, AS USING, ACCESSING, AND/OR BROWSING OUR WEBSITE CONSTITUTES ACCEPTANCE OF THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO BE BOUND TO EACH AND EVERY TERM AND CONDITION SET FORTH HEREIN, PLEASE EXIT OUR WEBSITE IMMEDIATELY AND DO NOT USE, ACCESS, AND/OR BROWSE IT FURTHER. 

Except as otherwise noted, this Agreement constitutes the entire and only Agreement between you and us and supersedes all other Agreements, representations, warranties, and understandings with respect to our Website, Services, and the subject matter contained herein. However, for you to use our Website and/or Services, you may also be required to agree to additional terms and conditions. Those additional terms and conditions will be incorporated into this Agreement unless otherwise stated.

Arbitration

Any legal controversy or claim arising from or relating to this Agreement and/or our Service, excluding legal action taken by us to collect or recover damages for – or obtain any injunction relating to – website operations, intellectual property, and our Service, will be settled solely by binding arbitration in accordance with the commercial arbitration rules of the American Arbitration Association. Any such controversy or claim will be arbitrated on an individual basis, and will not be consolidated in any arbitration with any claim or controversy of any other party. 

The arbitration will be conducted in Wilmington, Delaware and judgment on the arbitration award may be entered into any court having jurisdiction thereof. You or we may seek any interim or preliminary relief from a court of competent jurisdiction in Wilmington, Delaware necessary to protect our or your rights or property pending the completion of arbitration. Each party will bear half the arbitration fees and costs.

Choice of Law and Jurisdiction

This Agreement will be treated as if it were executed and performed in Suitland, Maryland, and will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of Maryland without regard to conflict of law provisions. In addition, you agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction and venue of such courts. Any cause of action by you with respect to our Website or Service must be instituted within one (1) year after the cause of action arose or be forever waived and barred. 


Limited License

We grant you a nonexclusive, nontransferable, revocable license to access and use our Website and Services strictly in accordance with this Agreement. Your use of our Website and Services is solely for internal, personal, noncommercial purposes unless otherwise provided for in this Agreement. No printout or electronic version of any part of our Website or Services may be used by you in any litigation or arbitration matter whatsoever under any circumstances.


Legal Compliance

You agree to comply with all applicable domestic and international laws, statutes, ordinances, and regulations regarding your use of our Website, Content, Services, and any software provided therein.


Our Relationship to You

This Agreement in no way creates any agency, partnership, joint venture, or employee-employer or franchisor-franchisee relationship between you and us.

The copying, redistribution, use, or publication by you of any such Content is strictly prohibited. Your use of our Website and Services does not grant you any ownership rights to our Content.

Eligibility and Registration for Membership
To use our Services, you must register with our Website to become a Member. Your Membership is not transferable or assignable and is void where prohibited. Our Website and Services are intended solely for Users who are at least (18) years of age or older. Any registration by, use of, or access to our Website by anyone under that age is unauthorized, unlicensed, and in violation of these Terms and Conditions. When you complete the enrollment process, you will receive a password that will allow you to access our Services. You agree to maintain the confidentiality of your password and are fully responsible for all liability and damages resulting from your failure to maintain that confidentiality as well as all activities that occur through the use of your password. 

You agree to immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your password or any other breach of security. You agree that our Website cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with password security as discussed herein.


Errors, Corrections, and Changes

We do not represent or otherwise warrant that our Website will be error-free or free from viruses or other harmful components, or that we will correct any errors. We do not represent or otherwise warrant that the information available on or through our Website will be correct, accurate, timely, or otherwise reliable. 

We reserve the right at our sole discretion to change any content, software, and other items used or contained in our Website or Services at any time without notice. 


Disclaimer

By using this website, you the (website visitor, student or customer) agree to all terms or use, conditions and policies implemented by FAST Training, LLC who shall be mentioned as (FAST Training Center of Camp Springs, FAST Training LLC , we, us, and our) in the Terms of Use and Company Policies provided below. 

By enrolling in any of our courses at, you (the student) agree to the following non-negotiable rules provided below: 

  • Students can not be under the influence of any illegal substances, or mind altering prescription drugs.

  • No Firearms permitted in the classroom by students (ref. Student Firearm Policy)

  • Valid ID must be present at all times during classroom instruction and firearm range instruction exercises.

  • Students are not allowed to use profanity, make lewd or obscene gestures to any staff member of Firearm and Security Training Center, student or building faculty staff while on the premises.

  • Students may not use cell phones during classroom / firearm instruction.

Any of theses actions may result in you being dismissed from class and forfeiture of enrollment costs and potential criminal prosecution.

Online Course Enrollment - Credit Authorization Policy

By Providing Credit Card Information For Payment and Accessing Our  Website: https://www.FirearmandSecurityTraining.com, you also agree to Abide By All Terms, Policies and Conditions Implemented By Our Integrated Vendor API's [Acuity Scheduling, Stripe & WorldPay]. 

By using a credit card via our website for payment of enrollment costs, products or services, you acknowledge / consent when providing credit card information online to us that:

  • We have the permission to charge the credit card provided via online enrollment, scheduling and payment processing via using our Contracted Vendor APIs.

  • You are the primary card holder or with consent of the primary card holder attest to having permission to use the credit card provided to FAST Training, LLC during enrollment for valid payment of any courses, products or services rendered.

  • Credit card information, personal information can be securely transmitted between us and our Contracted Vendor API's to process scheduling and payments.

  • Any unpaid balances due for enrollment costs, course fees and products will automatically charged in full on the original scheduled start date unless rescheduled 24-hours in advance via the enrollment / payment confirmation email sent to you after enrollment or via contacting us by phone at 301-423-2573 at extension 501 for Business Support Team Member

  • Providing incorrect, false or stolen credit card information is illegal and any such acts will result in forfeiture of any certification with us. In addition, any supporting evidence will be released to the proper authorities for prosecution.

    COURSES EXCHANGE / RETURN POLICY

    Our Course Enrollment (course payment / deposits) exchange / return policy is classified under the following categories and are to subject to the following policies:

    • Classroom Courses : Payments / Deposit costs are non refundable. Courses can be rescheduled up to 4-weeks after original scheduled class start date.

    • Online Courses: Since on-line students may be accessed courses immediately upon payment of their on-line registration, no refunds will be provided to students of on-line courses.

PRODUCTS RETURN POLICY 


UNOPENED PRODUCTS

We will accept unopened or defective products in unaltered condition with proof of purchase within 7 days for refund, credit or exchange for Security Guard Accessories and General Merchandise. 

For Opened Products, Firearms, Clothing, Course Enrollment Policy See Below: 

OPENED PRODUCTS

The following product categories are allowed to be returned opened: Security Guard Accessories, General Merchandise 

Restocking Fee

Security Guard Accessories and General Merchandise products, with the exception of non-returnable items are returnable within 3 days of purchase with 5% restocking fee, there after or up to 7 days qualified items are returnable with 15% restocking fee for a cash refund or a store-credit voucher for the full value of the product or service with no additional restocking fee applied. 

FIREARM RETURNS

Firearms are not permitted for cash returns. If you wish to exchange your firearm purchased, you may do so within 24-hours of purchase, under the following conditions:

  • Product must be unaltered

  • Still in new condition with all packaging.

  • Firearm must contain no noticeable firing marks / brass rings within the barrel. 

  • A 15% restocking fee and license transfer fees will apply.  

CLOTHING UNIFORMS PRODUCTS 

  • Unopened Security Guard Merchandise - Allowed for return within 7 days of purchase with 5% restocking fee. 

  • Worn, altered or customized clothing are non-returnable. 

NON-RETURNABLE PRODUCTS / SERVICES

  • OC Spray / Aerosol Containers 

  • Consumable Products 

  • Perishable Products

  • Open Bullets

  • Gun Cleaning Service

  • Fingerprinting Service

PHYSICAL CAMPUS  - RESCHEDULING POLICY  

If you need to cancel a scheduled course for which you have paid for that is not an online course, you may either reschedule your registration for the selected course up to 24-hours in advance of currently scheduled class date for a later date (up to 4 weeks later) or cancel your appointment and receive a store credit voucher that can applied towards: classroom courses, firearm and security store purchases (store & online).

STUDENT CARRY FIREARM POLICY

 

ON SITE - Firearms POLICY

Students, customers and civilians visiting FAST Training Center of Camp Springs [5211 Auth Rd, Camp Springs, Md, 20746] classroom location are NOT permitted to carry any firearms / weapons on the premises. 

OFF SITE - Firearms POLICY 

Only when permitted by a Firearms Instructor employed with FAST Training Center of Camp Springs, students who already posses a valid firearms license may bring their own firearm to an off-site location designated for their firearms gun range shooting test portion of their selected course.

When moving through designated facility, all firearms must be unloaded and in a case.

You must adhere to all of the following guidelines when at the designated range facility:

  • You must not be under the influence of any drugs (Prescribed & Over the counter) or any impairing illegal substances.

  • No Steel Core, Incendiary, Tracer, Exploding or Tipped Ammunition of any kind is permitted on the premises.

  • Food, drink and tobacco products are not permitted on the range.

  • Ear and eye protection must be worn at all times.

  • Keep your firearm unloaded until you are at your shooting station/lane and ready to shoot.

  • Always point the muzzle in a safe direction.

  • Keep your finger off the trigger until on target and ready to fire.

  • Do not hit anything other than the paper target.

  • Never move forward of the firing line.


CLASSROOM POLICIES

REQUIRED COURSE MATERIALS

Based upon the course you've chosen during enrollment, the following material are required for classroom instruction: 

Security Guard Courses

  • Notepad

  • Pen/Pencil

  • Duty Belt

  • Holster - (If you are taking any Armed Security Certification Training courses)

OC Spray Courses

  • Towel or Dry Cloth

  • Change of Shirt -(You will not be permitted back into class after being OC sprayed with the same shirt.)

Firearm Courses

  • Safety Duty Belt

  • Proper firing range equipment: Jeans, Security Uniforms Pants (Sweatpants are not allowed).

We reserve the right to change these Terms of Use and Company Policies at any time. We reserve the right to deny any return of products, enrollments costs or services paid.
